Godot 4.4 Release - New Features

GODOT VERSION 4.4 IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Godot, the increasingly popular game engine, makes progress by releasing version 4.4, the latest one to date.

The open-source engine created by Juan Linietsky and Ariel Manzur in 2007 and released to the public as open-source under the MIT license in 2014 has come a long way since it was first used as a commercial engine.

Since the release of version 4, Godot has established itself as a more than efficient alternative to more popular engines like Unity or Unreal Engine. Although, its main purpose is to facilitate game development, it offers excellent performance that keeps improving every day.

With its new version 4.4, this engine aims to provide even more convenience for developers, ensuring that their development time is as smooth and productive as possible without compromising the quality of the results.

Some new features include things like camera preview in scenes, making it easier to visualize in real-time what you are recording. There are also improvements in the programming area, with new functions that allow easier access to documentation and new shortcuts.

This engine is positioning itself as a competitive option, and more and more games are being developed with it every day.
